May I Borrow Your B$. 25?

A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for her at the door. 

SON: 'Mummy, may I ask you a question?' 

MUM: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the woman. 

SON: 'Mummy, how much do you make an hour?' 

MUM: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the woman said angrily. 

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?' 

MUM: 'If you must know, I make    B$. 50 an hour.' 

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down. 

SON: 'Mummy, may I please borrow B$.25?' 

The mother was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.' 

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.. 

The woman sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? 

After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed down , and started to think:  

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that Rs.25.00 and she really didn't ask for money very often.The woman went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. 

'Are you asleep, son?' She asked. 

'No Mummy, I'm awake,' replied the boy. 

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the woman. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the B$.25 you asked for.' 

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you Mummy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. 

The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. 

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother. 

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the mother grumbled. 

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied. 

'Mummy, I have B$.50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.' 

The mother was crushed. She put his arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness. 

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that B$.50 worth of your time with someone you love. 

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

The Power of Our Thoughts

Thoughts carry tremendous creative power.

 Consciously or not, before every spoken word,

 there is a thought.

 In the same way, there is a thought proceeding every action.

Since thoughts shape our words and behaviors, they inevitably

 shape our environment, relationships and destiny.

As part of our unique human power, our higher reasoning process

 separates us from other species.

 With our birth gifts of higher thoughts, inventions are made and

 modern civilization becomes a reality.

Unfortunately, most of us do not utilize the power of thoughts effectively.

Instead of managing our thoughts positively and using them to create a

 better reality, we have become powerless with our thoughts.

 For example, how many of us catch ourselves daydreaming often and

 allow our mind to wonder from places to places without much control?

 On the other hand, how many of us try to control our lives ineffectively by

 allowing repetitively negative thoughts to dominate our mind

 such as worrying obsessively.

 Without learning to master the power of our thoughts, no wonder

 we feel anxious and depressed most of the time!

The power of our thoughts truly deserves our better attention

as the quality of our thoughts determines the quality of our life.

 Negative thoughts create negative state of mind; therefore,

 they produce negative actions following by negative results.

 This sounds bad, doesn’t it? The good news is that in the same way,

 high quality thoughts create high quality state of mind; therefore,

 they produce positive actions and wonderful and positive results.

 Isn’t this a great incentive for us to pay attention and learn to

 monitor our thoughts carefully?

A good exercise is to start paying attention to the quality of our thoughts for a day.

 Your job is to reject any negative or limited thoughts as soon as they surface.

 Any “I can’t” or “too” judgments are out of the windows immediately.

 You might be surprised by how many negative thoughts you think daily.

 You might also discover that some of these thoughts are not even originally yours!

What a relief! When I first started this exercise, I noticed that there were

 more negative thoughts than positive ones.

 Most of the negative thoughts were not even valid.

 Unfortunately, they had become part of my “thinking habits”.

 Eventually,

 I learned that the price I had paid for my habitual negative thoughts

were way too high as they robbed away my happiness and my ability

 to create a good life.

Becoming conscious of the power of our thoughts is a necessity to improve

 the quality of our lives. Starting today, pay good attention to your thought quality.

 Use the power of your thoughts to create a good life because it is your birth right!

 As each of us becomes more conscious and becomes the master of our mind,

 we together can use our mind in creating more beauty,

 joy and goodness in the world.

Daniel: I guess we are the left overs in this world.
Jasmine: I think so.. All of my friends have boyfriends & we are the only 2
persons

               left in this world without any special someone in our lives.
Daniel: Yup! I don't know what to do.

Jasmine: I know! We'll play a game.

Daniel: What game?
Jasmine: I'll be your girlfriend for 30 days & you will be my boyfriend.
Daniel: That's a great plan in fact, I don't have anything to do for the
following weeks..

DAY 1:
They watched their first movie together & were both touched in the romantic film.

DAY 4:
They went to the beach & had a picnic... Daniel & Jasmine had their quality time together.

DAY 12:

Daniel invited Jasmine to a circus and they went to a Horror House.... Jasmine was scared

and she tried to touch Daniel's hand but by accident she touched someone else's and they both laughed..

DAY 14:
They saw a fortune teller down the road and asked for their future.. The
fortune teller said: 'My darlings, please don't waste the time of your lives... spend your time together happily.' Then tears flow from the teller's eyes.

DAY 20:

Jasmine invited Daniel to go to the hill and they saw a meteor... Jasmine mumbled something.


DAY 28:
They rode on a bus and because of the bumpy road, Jasmine gave her first kiss to Daniel by accident.

DAY 29:

11:37 pm

Daniel & Jasmine were sitting in the park where they first decided to play this game...
Daniel: I'm tired Jasmine... do you want any drinks? I'll buy you one.. I'll just go down the road..
Jasmine: Apple juice would be fine,thanks.
Daniel: Wait for me...

20 minutes later... a stranger  approached Jasmine.
Stranger: Are you a friend of Daniel?
Jasmine: Yes, why? What happened?
Stranger: A reckless drunken driver ran over Daniel & he is critical in the hospital.

11:57pm
The doctor came out from the emergency room & handed out an apple juice & a letter to Jasmine.
Doctor: We found this in Daniel's pocket.
Jasmine read the letter which says:
Jasmine, this past few days, I realized you are really a cute girl & I am falling for you.. your cherished smile, your everything when we played this game.. & before this game ends, I would like you to be my girlfriend for the rest of my
life. I love you, Jasmine...
Jasmine crumples the paper & shouted..
'Daniel! I don't want you to die...I love you... Remember that night we saw a meteor? I mumbled something.. I wished that we would be together forever & never end this game. Please don't leave me, Daniel... I love you, you cannot do this to me
Then the clock strikes 12

Daniel's heart stop pumping

Kisah Perangkap Tikus.

Sepasang suami dan isteri petani pulang kerumah setelah berbelanja. Ketika mereka membuka barang belanjaan, seekor tikus memperhatikan gelagat sambil menggumam, “hmmm… makanan apa lagi yang dibawa mereka dari pasar agaknya?”
  Ternyata, yang dibeli oleh petani hari itu adalah perangkap tikus. Sang tikus naik panik bukan kepalang.
  Ia bergegas lari ke sarang dan bertempik, “Ada perangkap tikus di rumah! Di rumah sekarang ada perangkap tikus!!”
  Ia pun mengadu kepada ayam dan berteriak, “Ada perangkat tikus!” Sang Ayam berkata, ” Tuan Tikus, Aku turut bersedih tapi ia tak ada kena-mengena dengan aku.”
  Sang Tikus lalu pergi menemui seekor kambing sambil berteriak seperti tadi. Sang Kambing pun jawab selamba, “aku pun turut bersimpati, tapi tidak ada yang boleh aku buat. Lagi pun tak tak ada kena-mengena dengan aku.”
  Tikus lalu menemui lembu. Ia mendapat jawapan sama. “Maafkan aku. Tapi perangkap tikus tidak berbahaya buat aku sama sekali. Takkanlah sebesar aku ni boleh masuk perangkap tikus?”
  Dengan rasa kecewa ia pun berlari ke hutan menemui ular. Sang ular berkata, “Eleh engkau ni. Perangkap tikus yang sekecil itu takkanlah nak membahayakan aku.”
  Akhirnya Sang Tikus kembali ke rumah dengan pasrah kerana mengetahui ia akan menghadapi bahaya seorang diri. 

Suatu malam, pemilik rumah terbangun mendengar suara berdetak perangkap tikusnya berbunyi menandakan umpan dah mengena. Ketika melihat perangkap tikusnya, ternyata seekor ular berbisa yang jadi mangsa. Buntut ular yang terperangkap membuatkan ular itu semakin ganas dan menyerang isteri pemilik rumah.
Walaupun si Suami sempat membunuh ular berbisa tersebut, isterinya tidak sempat diselamatkan. Si suami pun membawa isterinya ke klinik berhampiran. Beberapa hari kemudian isterinya sudah boleh pulang namun tetap sahaja demam.
Isterinya lalu minta dibuatkan sup kaki ayam oleh suaminya kerana percaya sup kaki ayam boleh mengurangkan demam. Tanpa berfikir panjang si Suami pun dengan segera menyembelih ayamnya untuk dapatkan kaki buat sup.
Beberapa hari kemudian sakitnya tidak kunjung reda. Seorang teman menyarankan untuk makan hati kambing. Ia lalu menyembelih kambingnya untuk mengambil hatinya. Masih juga isterinya tidak sembuh-sembuh dan akhirnya meninggal dunia. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un.
Banyak sungguh orang datang melawat jenazahnya. Kerana rasa sayang suami pada isterinya, tak sampai hati pula dia melihat orang ramai tak dijamu apa-apa. Tanpa berfikir panjang dia pun menyembelih lembunya untuk memberi makan orang-orang yang berziarah.
 

Dari kejauhan, Sang Tikus menatap dengan penuh kesedihan. Beberapa hari kemudian ia melihat perangkap tikus tersebut sudah tidak digunakan lagi.

Boy: would you run away with me?
Girl: baby, u know i would, i would do anything for u, but i cant... U dont know wut would happen if i did. My dad would kill me !!
Boy: *sad* its ok i understand i guess..
Girl: *thinking* i cant believe wuts going on

Boy: i need to give u sumthing 2nite b/c i am leaving on flight 1-80 in tha morning, so i need to see you now.
Girl: ok i will sneak out & meet u at tha park

[They meet at a nearby park, they both hug eachother. And he gives her a note.]
Boy: here u go, this is for you i gotta go.
Girl: *tear* (begins to cry)

It says.....

U probably already know that im leaving, i knew this would be better if i wrote a letter explaining tha truth about how much i care about you. The truth is, is that i never loved you, i hated you so much, u are my bitch and dont u ever forget that. I never cared about you, and never wanted to talk to you, n be around u. U really have no clue how much i hate you. Now that im leaving i thought u should know that i hate you bitch, u never did tha right thing, and u were never there. I didnt think i could hate someone as much as i hate you. And i never want to see you, for the rest of my life, i will never miss kissing you like before, i never want to cuddle up, how we used to. [ she turns off the tv....3 days later, she kills herself, because of tha fact that Kyle was dead & she had nothing to Live for... ]

....A day after that the fone rings. Nobody answers. It was Kyle, he called to leave a msg. 'Its Kyle, i guess ur not home so, I called 2 let u know that im alive, i missed my flight b/c i had 2 see u one last time. So i hope ur not worried. I am staying for good. Sorry if u got scared, i promise 2 make it up 2 u everything will be a be ok i love you so much...call me asap bye!

Wanita Cantik yg suka Menangis...

Seorang anak laki-laki kecil bertanya kepada ibunya 'Mengapa engkau menangis?'

'Kerana aku seorang wanita', kata sang ibu kepadanya.

'Aku tidak mengerti', kata anak itu.

Ibunya hanya memeluknya dan berkata, 'Dan kau tak akan pernah mengerti'

Kemudian anak laki-laki itu bertanya kepada ayahnya, 'Mengapa ibu suka menangis tanpa alasan?'

Harijadi ke 17 tahun.

Seorang anak bertanya pada ibunya.

Anak : Mama, bila harijadi saya ke-17 nanti, boleh buat pesta dirumah?

Mama : Boleh...boleh..Nanti mama akan aturkan.

Anak : Ma, ..boleh saya mengajak kawan-kawan saya sekali?

Mama : Boleh, ..nanti mama uruskan jemputannya.

Anak : Ma.., boleh saya pakai baju baru berwarna pink tak?

Mama : Boleh...boleh, nanti mama belikan.

Maka tibalah harijadinya yang ke-17 itu, berpestalah dirumahnya, kawan-kawannya sudah datang, anak itu memakai baju barunya dan kembali bertanya pada mamanya.

Anak : Ma..boleh saya pakai lipstick tak?

Mama : Tak boleh!

Anak : Alah.....mama, pada harijadi ke-17 ini kan terjadi cuma sekali dalam hidup, takkan pakai lipstick pun tak boleh...

Mama : Tidak boleh.! Kamu boleh adakan pesta, kamu boleh menjemput rakan-rakan kamu, kamu boleh pakai baju pink baru itu, tapi kamu tidak boleh pakai lipstick

Anak : Alaaaa ....boleh la mama........., please.....

Mama : Azwan!!!!! kali ini mama tidak mahu berkompromi... TIDAK BOLEH, kamukan Lelaki!

Akui Diri

Seorang profesor melangkah penuh bergaya menuju ke bilik kuliahnya. Dia hendak menguji pelajarnya mengenai kelemahan diri. 

Dia bertanya, "Siapa yang merasakan dirinya bodoh, sila berdiri". Semua pelajar diam. Ada yang senyum. Tidak lama kemudian, seorang pelajar bangun. Profesor berkata: "Oooh....Jadi awak mengakulah diri awak ini bodoh?" Pelajar: Bukan....sebenarnya saya tidak sanggup lihat profesor seorang saja yang berdiri!

Cara-cara nak cover malu.

1. Kalo tersepak batu: Jangan terus bangun, sebaliknyer anda baring dan terus berguling-guling hingga jauh dari perhatian ramai...lepas tu baru bgn bila takde orang nampak..

2. Kalo terjatuh beskal: cepat-cepat naik beskal anda semula dan jatuhla lagi sehingga berkali-kali supaya orang ingat anda saje-saje buat lawak...

3. Kalo terjatuh tangga: terus bersilat seolah-olah anda dirasuk atau sedang berlawan dengan makhluk halus...

4. Kalo terjatuh dalam longkang: pungutlah sampah yang ada sambil marah-marah dengan suara yang kuat, pasti orang menyangka anda seorang yang amat prihatin terhadap kebersihan....

5. Kalo jatuh ketika nak naik bas: jeritlah kuat-kuat.."oi! apa tolak-tolak ni?" walaupun tiada orang di blakang anda....

6. Kalo terjatuh di dpn bus stop: terus buat-buat pengsan sehingga ada orang membantu anda..kalo takde..baring terus sampai malam dan takde orang lagi kat bus stop tu...haa...ni lah masa sesuai untuk bangun semula....

7. Kalo jatuh tergelincir kat lantai licin: tarik la kawan (atau sesiapa yang ada kat sebelah anda) untuk jatuh bersama-sama supaya tak lah anda sorang je yang dapat malu...ye tak?....

Teka-Teki Sekadar pesanan dari Hamba Allah

Suatu hari, Imam Al-Ghazali berkumpul dengan murid-muridnya lalu beliau
bertanya (Teka Teki ) :

Imam Ghazali = " Apakah yang paling dekat dengan diri kita di dunia ini ?
Murid 1 = " Orang tua "
Murid 2 = " Guru "
Murid 3 = " Teman "
Murid 4 = " Kaum kerabat "
Imam Ghazali = " Semua jawapan itu benar. Tetapi yang paling dekat dengan
kita ialah MATI . Sebab itu janji Allah bahawa setiap yang bernyawa pasti
akan mati ( Surah Ali-Imran :185).

Imam Ghazali = " Apa yang paling jauh dari kita di dunia ini ?"
Murid 1 = " Negeri Cina "
Murid 2 = " Bulan "
Murid 3 = " Matahari "
Murid 4 = " Bintang-bintang "
Iman Ghazali = " Semua jawaban itu benar. Tetapi yang paling benar adalah
MASA LALU. Bagaimanapun kita, apapun kenderaan kita, tetap kita tidak akan dapat kembali ke masa yang lalu. Oleh sebab itu kita harus menjaga hari ini, hari esok dan hari-hari yang akan datang dengan perbuatan yang sesuai dengan ajaran Agama".

Iman Ghazali = " Apa yang paling besar didunia ini ?"
Murid 1 = " Gunung "
Murid 2 = " Matahari "
Murid 3 = " Bumi "
Imam Ghazali = " Semua jawaban itu benar, tapi yang besar sekali adalah
HAWA NAFSU (Surah Al A'raf: 179). Maka kita harus hati-hati dengan nafsu
kita, jangan sampai nafsu kita membawa ke neraka."

IMAM GHAZALI" Apa yang paling berat didunia? "
Murid 1 = " Baja "
Murid 2 = " Besi "
Murid 3 = " Gajah "
Imam Ghazali =3D " Semua itu benar, tapi yang paling berat adalah MEMEGANG
AMANAH (Surah Al-Azab : 72 ). Tumbuh-tumbuhan, binatang, gunung, dan
malaikat semua tidak mampu ketika Allah SWT meminta mereka menjadi khalifah pemimpin) di dunia ini. Tetapi manusia dengan sombongnya berebut-rebut menyanggupi permintaan Allah SWT sehingga banyak manusia masuk ke neraka
kerana gagal memegang amanah."

Imam Ghazali = " Apa yang paling ringan di dunia ini ?"
Murid 1 = " Kapas"
Murid 2 = " Angin "
Murid 3 = " Debu "
Murid 4 = " Daun-daun"
Imam Ghazali = " Semua jawaban kamu itu benar, tapi yang paling ringan
sekali didunia ini adalah MENINGGALKAN SOLAT . Gara-gara pekerjaan kita
atau urusan dunia, kita tinggalkan solat "

Imam Ghazali = " Apa yang paling tajam sekali di dunia ini? "
Murid- Murid dengan serentak menjawab = " Pedang "
Imam Ghazali = " Itu benar, tapi yang paling tajam sekali didunia ini
adalah LIDAH MANUSIA. Kerana melalui lidah, manusia dengan mudahnya
menyakiti hati dan melukai perasaan saudaranya sendiri "
